Endoscopy Surgical Technician - Lake Wales
MaxHealth in Lake Wales is looking for a full-time Endoscopy Surgical Technician. The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting in endoscopic procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the endoscopy unit. This role involves preparing the endoscopy suite, maintaining equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and providing quality care and education to patients. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of endoscopy procedures, excellent technical skills, and a strong commitment to patient safety and infection control. Qualified candidates are mature, professional and have the patients best interest in mind. This healthcare position earns competitive wages, depending on experience. Qualifications for a Endoscopy Surgical Technician. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent Previous experience in endoscopy or surgical technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to quality patient care. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR) EClinical Works preferred Experience with documentation & Compliance related to patient care
