Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced First Assist CST with endoscopic vein harvesting skills for a CVOR travel assignment.
Responsibilities Work in a large hospital operating room with 23 OR suites, including 4 dedicated CVORsPatient population includes adult and some congenital pediatric cardiac and vascular casesTypical procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, pericardial window, aortic dissections, congenital peds, fem pop, AAA, and AV fistulaEndoscopic vein harvesting is requiredShift schedule is 4x10s, 7:00AM-5:30PM, with variable call requirementsPotential to float to the main OR as neededCeil blue scrubs are provided on the unitMain responsibilities include assisting surgeons during open heart and vascular procedures and performing endoscopic vein harvestingTeam includes over 125 staff members in the ORCandidates should be confident in their clinical skills and knowledgeScrub attire is provided in-houseWeekend and on-call shifts are required and based on vein-harvesting skill setNo Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
