RightWorks is hiring Night Maintenance Mechanic for long-term work in Theodore AL for one of the nation's leading manufacturing companies. $26 to $29 / hr; 5pm to 3:30am shift.
Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing
Overview:
Responsible for the repair and upkeep of production equipment within a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems. Maintain engines, motors, cranes, and other production equipment. Document repairs, work orders, and service logs accurately. Use hand/power tools and precision instruments for repairs and inspections. Keep work areas clean and follow housekeeping standards. Adhere to safety protocols and ISO quality requirements. Support cross-training efforts and assist team members. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Regular pushing, pulling, and handling of materials. Work Environment:
Exposure to moving machinery, high temps, debris, cleaning chemicals, and wet/dirty areas. Moderate noise level. Qualifications:
Required:
3+ years in maintenance, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings. Hands-on experience with forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, etc. Intermediate electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting. Strong mechanical skills; ability to read blueprints/sketches. Basic math and multitasking capabilities. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varied shifts. Preferred:
High school diploma or GED. Technical school or trade certification. Basic wiring and motor control experience. Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office familiarity.
