Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a proven technical expert in the repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment. This is a full-time role based between a facility and a customer site in Nashua, NH, performing calibration and repairs on electronic test equipment.
Specific Duties Include: Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of test equipment assets. Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided. Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware and system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required. Perform calibration and adjustment procedures after repairs. Understand and utilize PC-based software as required. Install software and firmware upgrades, which may include re-imaging of instruments. Perform repairs on most products that are critical to customer uptime. Required Skills and Experience:
Technical school or military PMEL/TMDE training or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 5 years related experience in support of test and measurement instruments. RF/Microwave repair and calibration up to 50 GHz is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills. Calibration and repair experience with a wide range of test equipment is a plus. Experience using automated calibration software platforms is a plus. Must have experience in Test and Measurement industry Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers. Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Nashua, NH area. Ability to lift 35 lbs.
