Inspection & Tester (Pharma)

will assist with the Roto lining of pharmaceutical bottles on the Persico machine. Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong skills with standard shop tools and equipment and knowledge of measuring tools is also required.

Job Accountabilities: Work at an appropriate pace ensuring a quality product and quality requirements are met while meeting or exceeding productivity targets Must complete training for persico operation. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, pie tapes, height gages, and scales to measure and inspect components and assemblies as needed. Conduct quality inspections to established drawings and work instructions as needed. Observe all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, respirators, etc. as required. Participate in continuous improvement activities, lean initiatives, 5S, etc. Recommend quality and productivity improvements where appropriate to increase customer satisfaction, quality delivery performance, and profitability. Perform other duties as assigned. Become proficient in the trim and deflash of Products as needed. Requires the setup and operation of some minor equipment to satisfy the requirements when no tooling is furnished and the use of some inspection tools. The position requires minimal supervision and the use of quality workmanship standards. High Mathematics skills are required. Job Specifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Skills:

Interpret and utilize drawing and work instructions to inspect products. Proficient with measurement tools, hand tools, and shop equipment. Communicate orally in the English language and in-group and face-to-face, one-to-one settings. Work cooperatively with others Basic computer skills needed to process work orders, retrieve electronic documents and document results.
