JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and

compliance of aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The Aviation Maintenance Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft and ensuring safe operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:

Reviews the general Maintenance manual, manufacturers' manuals, publications and

specific items to maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency to accomplish all

inspections.

Ensures all manufacturers’ technical service documentation and maintenance

procedures are followed to ensure continued airworthiness of assigned aircraft.

Examines aircraft maintenance logs prior to accomplishing inspections to determine the

appropriate inspection required.

Executes proper forms when components or parts are replaced on aircraft and reviews

maintenance flight logs and inspection status forms to determine that maintenance and

inspections have been properly cleared.

Determines whether items listed on maintenance logs and appropriate forms have been

signed prior to releasing aircraft for return to service.

Establishes calibrated tooling used in the accomplishment of maintenance is in suitable

condition and has been calibrated within the established schedules.

Maintains Airworthiness Directive records as required, ensuring that all are complied

with per manufacturer instructions and documented appropriately.

Monitors quality assurance programs as well as scheduled and unscheduled inspection

programs for all assigned aircraft.

Ensures accurate and timely information is documented in maintenance systems and

conveyed to appropriate maintenance staff regarding operations, AOG situations, and

mechanical delays.

In-depth knowledge of multiple helicopter platforms, including:

Airbus: H125 (AS350) and H130

Bell: 407 and 412

Agusta: 109 and 119

Salary:

Negotiable: $80k to $90k

Work Schedule:

Weekly: 40 hours, some overtime required.

Travel:

Some travel required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
