Marketing Specialist Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports the execution and optimization of the organization's digital presence and broader marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with service line goals, brand standards, and SEO best practices. Reporting to the Manager of Integrated Marketing & Communications, this role plays a key part in enhancing the health system's website, digital marketing performance, and communications strategy. Core responsibilities include supporting website content updates and conducting regular audits to identify outdated or missing information, monitoring digital performance metrics such as traffic and bounce rates, and assisting with user experience (UX) improvements to create a seamless online experience. The Specialist also helps plan, execute, and optimize paid digital media campaigns across social, search, and display platforms, working to maximize reach and return on investment. They track campaign performance using dashboards and analytics tools, provide actionable insights, assist with A/B testing of digital ads and landing pages, and ensure accurate tagging, tracking, and attribution for data-driven decision-making.
In addition to digital responsibilities, the Marketing Specialist plays a supporting role in both internal and external communications. This includes helping to draft, edit, and distribute newsletters, announcements, press releases, and web content to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the brand voice. The specialist also manages the ordering, inventory, and distribution of promotional items used for marketing campaigns, community events, and internal initiatives. This role requires a balance of organizational, communication, and analytical skills to effectively support a wide range of strategic and operational marketing activities.

Education Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field such as literature, English, marketing or communications required. Experience

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. Salary range:$48,360.00 - $74,963.20 Commensurate with experience
