Facilities Supervisor Position Summary

Supervises the daily activities of a section of the Facilities Department, Security, Environmental services and any onsite contractors. Develops repair lists and prioritizes tasks as needed. The Facilities Supervisor schedules staff appropriately to cover the needs of the facility and ensure completion of assigned tasks. The Facility Supervisor performs quality control tests to ensure repairs are complete and accurate

Facilities Supervisor Position Requirements

Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience

5 years of experience in maintenance and building trades, in a healthcare or public institutional environment 4 years Management or supervisory experience Courses in technical trades or management skill classes preferred. Facilities Supervisor Schedule

Assigned to day shift, Monday through Friday. Expected to respond to calls after normal working hours or weekends. May be required to work long hours in event of emergency. Participates in departmental on-call with the manager and other supervisors. Facilities Supervisor Benefits
