Job Location:
Clearwater, FL (on site role).
Compensation:
$25.00/hr to $29.00/hr (depending on experience). Overtime will be paid at 1.5x per hours worked over 40 hours.

HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major defense contractor and specialty vehicle manufacturer. We're looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and electrical power systems within a manufacturing facility. This includes working on press brakes, punches, presses, laser cutting systems, CNC machines, welding machines, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems.
Top Required Skills:
Strong background in pneumatics and hydraulics LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) experience - required Comfort working with low-voltage applications Essential Functions:
Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, including electrical supply lines, piping, tubing, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems. Maintain and repair control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, and limit switches. Inspect equipment for proper lubrication, test performance, and perform general preventative maintenance. Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order tracking. Diagnose equipment issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors or higher-level mechanics. Assist in complex repairs, part replacements, and adjustments. Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Follow all established safety procedures. Maintain effective communication with team members. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum three (3) years' experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication equipment maintenance. Valid driver's license with Class E qualification and a clean driving record. Strong English reading, writing, and math skills. Qualifications Preferred:
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems. Experience operating various hand tools and shop equipment. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Detail-oriented and well-organized. Work Environment, Other Info:
This role is based on a 1st (day) shift schedule, Monday to Friday. We may need occasional flexibility in the hours worked depending on the need. Offer may be contingent on passing a background check and drug screen (drug screen would include Cannabis because this role is connected to a federal government contractor).
