Primary Responsibilities: The Summer Custodian reports to the Head Custodian and supports the school's summer operations. Responsibilities include: General cleaning and maintenance Stripping and waxing floors Painting and minor repairs Assisting with summer facility projects as assigned Working Conditions:
During the summer months, Salisbury Central School has limited staff presence and no regular student programming. The building is quieter, allowing custodial staff to focus on deep cleaning, maintenance, and facility improvement projects. Summer custodians work as part of a small, collaborative team in a respectful and task-focused environment. Candidates should be reliable, flexible, and comfortable working independently or with minimal supervision.
Schedule & Compensation:
Approximately 25 hours per week (schedule is flexible) Employment dates: June 16 - August 25, 2025 Salary: $22.00/hour Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of a criminal background check and DCF records check Application/Interview Procedure:
