We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our Plastic Injection facility located in Lapeer MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections of plastic injection molded parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions and quality. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics. Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the production team. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Assist in training new team members on quality inspection processes and standards. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus. Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in plastic injection molding. Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques. Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Salary info: $17 - $17.50 / hr
