Our Talent Team and our partner - Total Quality Consulting (TQC Team) will review your submitted information and will call or email successful applicants for an interview as soon as possible.

In-Person Interview: After a screening call with TQC, we'll invite a final number of candidates to our office for an in-person interview or set up a live Zoom meeting with the hiring manager(s).

If we believe that you have what it takes, we'll make an offer and provide next steps in the hiring process!

Pre-employment requirements include an employment application, standardized testing, including aptitude or skill-set test, a drug screen, a credit screen and a criminal background check.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Under the Compliance Manager's direction, the Compliance Analyst performs a variety of duties to assist with the credit union's compliance program, helping to ensure the organization operates in accordance with state and federal laws. This position will update policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure ongoing compliance. The Compliance Analyst will help train staff on new or updated policies and directives when required and may identify additional training needs and compliance resources related to the organization's business activities. The Compliance Analyst will help identify enhancements in compliance monitoring and reporting, and may be asked to help with file maintenance report reviews, employee account reviews, ID theft red flags tracking, and fraud and suspected elder or dependent adult financial abuse, including preparing required reports. The Compliance Analyst may also attend periodic meetings which requires effective communication cross-departmentally.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

: Helps support credit union's various compliance areas including training, monitoring reviews, policy and procedures, and product development, providing compliance support, communication and interpretation of compliance rules and regulations to employees, and researching regulatory issues as they arise. Assists with reviewing file maintenance reports to verify employee transactions align with duties and collaborates with managers to resolve discrepancies. Keeps abreast of compliance and legal updates by attending various training sessions, including but not limited to seminars and webinars. Assists with preparing elder financial abuse reports. Assists with audits and examinations. Drive innovation and continuous improvement. REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience:

Minimum two years' experience required working at a financial institution in a branch or operations department. Strong written and oral communication. Strong analytical skills together with attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Able to work independently and in a team oriented environment. Ability to use basic computer programs, i.e., Windows, Word, Excel, required. Knowledge of credit union operations, products and services, and policies, including basic regulatory issues, required. Working knowledge of less complex consumer compliance regulations. Self-starter with a high level of dependability and self-motivation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

AA or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or other related business discipline desired or equivalent comparable experience.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Hours Required : Work schedule of Monday through Friday, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some alternate work schedules. This is a non-exempt position. This position is eligible for the credit union's telecommute policy.

Travel Requirements:

5% - 10% travel required. Occasional travel to branch locations, educational conferences, industry roundtables and compliance trainings.
