We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe polysomnographer is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care for patients with sleep disorders. What you will do in this role: In collaboration with the patient/family, you will systematically and continually assesses the patient’s health and be able to demonstrate appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures, and guidelines in assessing of the ages served.You will assess, monitor, treat, document, and interpret data in the following modalities:NPSGCpap/Bipap NPSGMSLTMWTPrepares patient for Sleep Studies per policyCleans re-useable equipment per policyTitrates Bipap/Cpap per policyAdministers Oxygen per policyYou will complete ongoing patient assessment and document according to policy, before and after therapy.You will report symptoms and significant changes in the patient’s condition to appropriate personnel including physician.You will organize and prioritize care for optimal time management.What qualifications you will need:Polysomnographer licensureBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateTriStar Summit is a 230+ bed comprehensive facility.
