Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Polysomnographer/Sleep Technologist with at least 2 years of clinical sleep medicine experience for a 13-week night shift contract.

Responsibilities Work in a pediatric sleep lab settingNight shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AMPatient population is pediatricResponsible for conducting and scoring polysomnographic studies using a variety of sleep medicine equipmentCandidates may float within their clinical scope if neededEpic EMR experience is preferredConduct and score sleep studies, monitor patients and equipment, and troubleshoot sleep study artifactsComplete facility-specific modules during orientation (approximately 6 hours)Team environment with unit manager oversight; manager will conduct interviewsFacility is a drug, tobacco, and smoke-free workplaceNatural nail policy in effectHoliday coverage may be required and is not guaranteed offReturn staff must be gone for at least one year prior to eligibilityLocals are accepted at the same rate as travelersFingerprinting and background checks required with no allowance to start while pendingMust not work over 40 hours per week unless approved by the unit manager
