American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist with at least 1 year of experience working with pediatric and adult patients and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities Position based in an acute care hospital settingAssignment involves working with both pediatric and adult populationsAdult patient ratio is 1:2, pediatric ratio is 1:1Specialized equipment includes Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP unitsShifts are four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMEvery other weekend coverage requiredFloating required within hospital and to affiliate hospitals as neededEpic EMR experience requiredDuties include conducting sleep studies and operating specialized sleep lab equipmentProfessional attire; no specific scrub color requiredFree parking available on siteMust be able and willing to float to nearby affiliate facilities as necessaryFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyHolidays: Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)Modules required to be completed pre-start and annuallyReturn policy: former employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates; locals accepted at a different rateRTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of application
