Sonographer Position

FTE: 0.8 Shift: Days, call, holidays. $3.25/hr differential for variable FTE. Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Hours Per Week: 32-40 Weekends: Some Benefit Eligible We are seeking a Sonographer to: perform diagnostic and therapeutic sonographic procedures, while providing hands-on, caring, and compassionate patient care. Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts, early OB and routine vascular examinations. Required Qualifications: Associates degree or completion of a Sonography certification program Minimum 2 years of direct patient/health care experience (accredited program may count as experience) Registered by RDMS in Physics and one of the following upon initial hire date: Abdomen or, OB/GYN or RVT Registered or Registry-eligible for any certification not held at the time of initial hire as follows: Must have registries in each of the following within 1 year of hiring date: Abdomen or OB/GYN RVT In-depth knowledge of adult, pediatric, neonatal and fetal physiology, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy Experience and ability to recognize normal and abnormal findings Demonstration of clear and concise verbal and communication skills Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor degree from an accredited ultrasound program BLS certification Experience with varying ultrasound equipment systems and procedures Experience and training in neonatal environment EEO/M/F/D/V #Madison123
