Accounts Payable Specialist . This role handles accounts payable and provides accounting support for project teams, including vendor invoicing, credit card processing, lien waiver tracking, and collaboration with project teams. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, confidence in communication, and experience in a construction or project-based environment. Candidates with at least five years of accounting experience and strong administrative skills are encouraged to apply. Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and expense reports, reviewing, coding, matching receipts, investigating discrepancies, and data entry into ERP. Improving and maintaining AP workflows and processes. Supporting audit and month-end close processes. Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor issues. Tracking and reconciling credit card transactions weekly. Reviewing monthly statements and resolving discrepancies. Maintaining lien waivers and ensuring proper documentation. Providing customer service to internal and external contacts. Backing up other accounting staff as needed. Assisting with project-specific requirements. Participating in meetings and coordinating with field and office staff for proper coding. Handling phone calls professionally and courteously. What we offer:

Preferred skills include: Five or more years of relevant experience, ideally in construction accounting. Must possess: High school diploma or GED; associates degree in accounting preferred. Ability to collaborate, take initiative, and organize effectively. Professional appearance and manners. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, and lift 25 pounds. Indoor, temperature-controlled environment with exposure to outside elements on job sites. Additional details:
