Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years with 1 year current experience License: State License Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - ARRT (R) Certification - Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred - Willing to work weekends - Personal vehicle Description: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Initiative is needed to apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by supervisory personnel. Proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas, assuming supervisory or instructional responsibilities as determined by management. Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with departmental policies. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate proper operation of computer systems. Demonstrate ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging applications. Attend annual mandatory education including safety and infection control. Maintain department competencies as required. Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted.
