Travel Mammography Tech - $2,654 per week in Pittsfield, MA

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years X-Ray experience, 1 year current experience, 2 years Mammography experience License: Current ARRT (R) Certification, ARRT (M) Certification required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must have excellent patient care skills. - Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography. - Must have Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred. - Must be willing to work weekends and evenings. - Must have own vehicle. Description: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Initiative is required to apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by management. Proper care of the client in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to personnel as determined by management. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with policies and OSHA standards. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems. Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PAC applications. Attends mandatory education, including blood-borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintains department competencies as required. Requested time off during this assignment must be noted and verified. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Traveler must have ability to work scheduled hours as posted.
