Job Overview: DTI has an immediate need for one of our public utility clients who is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
CCS Conversion Designer
to support a long-term enterprise system transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring experience in data mapping, conversion logic design, and technical coordination related to CCS (Customer Care & Services) conversions. This is a
hybrid role
requiring
onsite presence in San Antonio, TX
from
Tuesday through Thursday
each week.
Key Responsibilities: Design and document data conversion strategies for legacy system data migration into CCS. Develop detailed mapping logic and specifications based on system requirements and business rules. Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business SMEs to ensure clean, accurate data transformation. Review and validate conversion requirements to ensure integrity and completeness of migrated data. Create technical documentation, including conversion rules, test plans, and validation scripts. Participate in conversion mock runs and go-live activities to ensure successful execution. Analyze and resolve data issues arising during testing or post-load validations. Contribute to conversion planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data conversion or system integration roles, ideally within public utilities or large enterprise systems. Strong understanding of
CCS (Customer Care & Services)
or other utility customer systems. Proficient in data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion testing practices. Experience working with SAP, Oracle Utilities, or other CIS platforms is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work onsite in San Antonio, TX three days per week (Tues-Thurs). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP IS-U, Oracle CC&B, or similar platforms. Prior involvement in utility billing, metering, or customer service data conversion projects. Knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, or conversion accelerators.
Pay rate: $110-$120hr based on experience
