The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, efficiency, and high standards of the 24 Carrots kitchen team. This individual ensures all kitchenware, equipment, and workspaces are clean, organized, and ready for use supporting seamless service and an exceptional guest experience. KEY RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Executive Sous Chef Supervises: N/A
IDEAL MAKEUP The ideal Dishwasher is a reliable team player who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and supporting the behind-the-scenes operations that make every 24 Carrots event shine. They are dependable, efficient, and proactive working with care and consistency to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Here's a breakdown of their key qualities:
Kitchen & Facilities Support Maintains a clean, organized dishwashing station throughout each shift Ensures all kitchenware, utensils, and glassware are washed, sanitized, and restocked properly Keeps dishwashing equipment in clean and working order Changes dishwasher water regularly and replaces soap/cleaning supplies as needed Polishes flatware and checks all crates for broken or chipped items Restocks and organizes items in the appropriate areas Supports warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Bonus Points: Attention to Detail They consistently check for cleanliness, safety, and quality-even when working quickly or under pressure.
Team-Focused They work collaboratively with kitchen staff, event leads, and warehouse teams to meet shared goals.

EXPECTATIONS Cleanliness & Maintenance Wash all dishes for corporate and social events Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout shift Clean dishwashing station and equipment at end of shift Replace all soaps and cleaning solutions regularly Change dishwashing machine water during shift Sort and sift through dish crates to remove broken items
Organization & Safety Restock items in designated places Keep warehouse and workstations tidy and safe Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures
Team Conduct & Compliance Take required meal breaks Uphold 24 Carrots core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence, and Dedication Follow uniform and hygiene standards as outlined in the handbook
QUALIFICATIONS Professional, enthusiastic, and dependable Strong personal hygiene and cleanliness standards Self-motivated and adaptable Ability to work effectively under pressure Collaborative mindset in a diverse team environment Must hold a valid California Food Handler's Card ServSafe Certification required within 30 days of hire
Pay Range: $18 to $19 per hour, depending on experience
