With the ongoing expansion of our operations across multiple areas in the US, the company is seeking a key individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable Associate in our Houston office. This position involves the processing of the companys vendor invoices and vendor interaction. The ideal candidate will understand oil and gas terminology and be familiar with the coding of costs to the wells. The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities including: Job Functions For multiple companies, code vendor and JIB invoices into the DocVue system and route for approval Scanning invoices into DocVue Resolve invoice problems and disputes with vendors Set-up vendors in the OGSYS accounting system Track and record ACH payments Prepare account reconciliations Back-up for team members as needed Other projects in-line with job responsibilities Qualifications 3+ years oil and gas accounts payable experience Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including proficiency in Excel Experience with On Demand Accounting (ODA), DocVue or OGSYS a plus Detail oriented and works well in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Company Description: PO&G acquires conventional and unconventional oil and gas properties and increases their value by improving operations such as artificial lift, water flood optimization, and vertical infill drilling.
