Pay: $25 Key Responsibilities:
Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the performance and condition of all plant machinery and equipment.
Assist in the development and enforcement of safety and security procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and facility operations.
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Implement and manage a proactive preventive maintenance schedule to ensure consistent operation of all machinery.
Conduct regular inspections, installations, adjustments, and repairs of equipment across the plant.
Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve equipment-related production challenges.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for equipment service history.
Recommend and assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
Promote teamwork and contribute to department goals by performing related tasks as assigned.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform maintenance-related duties as required to maintain continuous production.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance (preferably in paper or packaging)
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
