We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis for the 2nd/3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general facility maintenance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment, machinery, and systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units
Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and infrastructure
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and resolve issues efficiently
Install, modify, and upgrade equipment and systems as needed
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as required
QualificationsRequired:
5-15 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and procedures
Experience with industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, and conveyor systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Proficient in using various hand and power tools
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification
Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
Certifications in specific areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, or industrial maintenance
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Knowledge of energy management and conservation practices
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
