Marketing Specialist

to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $55k - $65k Position Overview: This full-time Marketing Specialist position plays a key role in supporting organizational communications, event marketing, member engagement, and creative production. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong design and digital skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist:

Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support evolving organizational and member needs.

Provide direct support to the Senior Director of Operations & Business Development, assisting with key initiatives and special projects.

Design and develop marketing and informational materials for events, meetings, and educational programming.

Partner with staff to coordinate publication timelines, collect content, and manage advertising schedules.

Assist in managing and maintaining marketing budgets.

Create and distribute mass communications, e-blasts, and promotional messages to members.

Manage and curate content for social media platforms.

Coordinate with the webmaster to update and maintain website content.

Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and digital ads for conferences and webinars.

Oversee the production and execution of webinars and podcasts, including hosting and technical management.

Contribute to the creation of innovative marketing campaigns and digital strategies.

Track and report marketing metrics, analyze data, and present insights during project updates.

Coordinate with vendors for event supplies, promotional materials, and signage orders.

Design and distribute weekly and monthly e-newsletters using graphic design tools.

Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure team and organizational success.

Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Specialist:

Canva experience - at least 5+ years using that application / Hootsuite

Podcast Experience - knowing how to edit video clips, upload/promote podcasts

Experience with communications - sending out weekly newsletters, developing newsletters, e-blasts, daily mailers, etc.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Specialist:

Skilled in audio/video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Audacity, Camtasia, GarageBand, or comparable tools.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma is required.

Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
