Job Description
Responsible for providing leadership and strategy to support TDX Government Service's Business Development goals, including efforts focused on the retention and expansion of existing business and efforts to bring in specific targeted business to the Company as the key stakeholder extensively involved in the Business Development Vision and Goals. Establish new teaming relationships, support the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program Rules and Policies and maintain significant relationships throughout the country both commercial and governmental and follow-up on business leads/interested parties. Collaborate with management of multiple business systems, programs and processes to comply with regulatory requirements and corporate initiatives. These include accounting, human resources, security, project cost controls and environmental, health and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Support business development initiatives. Assist in facilitating the development of company business development plans. Research and provide recommendations on business development opportunities. Identify sectoral opportunities for business development. Help develop partnerships within the communities to develop and promote opportunities. Conduct surveys and research on market opportunities. Maintains exceptional communications for Economic and BD activities with leadership, clients and partners. Identify opportunities for joint ventures. Provide leadership to ensure that partners and clients requests are met in a timely manner. Manage and coordinates departmental and project systems associated with Business Development Activities. Prepare and present project capabilities statements for all applicable subsidiaries, at all levels. Lead or assist with proposal preparation. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business or Economic development. Master's degree in business administration - highly desired. Ten+ years Business Development Experience in Government and civilian Sector. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful relationships between large corporations, sub-contractors and the Company. Government Contract and Project Management experience - highly desired Experience with all contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus) as well as non-IDIQ and IDIQ single or multiple award contracts, OTAs, and MTAs Knowledge of the Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) Small Businesses. Experience in program development, project management and administering quality assurance programs. Experience with Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements. Experience working in diverse geographical locations, such as Alaska and overseas. Strong computer and analytical skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to Travel. Prior military service preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft software Additional Requirements
