The individual selected for this role will work at Store #1320, located at: 1204 S Garfield Rd, Traverse City MI, 49686.
This position plays a crucial role in our retail success. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will engage directly with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. You will also take charge of resolving any customer concerns promptly, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
Assisting customers in-store and over the phone to provide suitable product solutions.
Building trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail clients.
Accurately processing sales transactions while adhering to company policies.
Meeting sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintaining organized work files and product formulas.
Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Tinting and mixing products to meet specific customer requirements.
Restocking shelves and creating appealing displays.
Keeping store equipment clean and functional.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Assisting with deliveries as necessary.
Ensuring assigned areas are in stock and visually appealing.
Staying informed on product offerings and discussing alternatives with customers.
Following inventory control procedures diligently.
Proposing ideas to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must have the legal right to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
Must be available to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
One (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
Experience in selling paint and paint-related products.
Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is advantageous.
Spanish language skills are highly valued.
