Part-Time Customer Service Representative

The selected individual will be essential to the success of our retail store, located at: 1204 S Garfield, Traverse City MI, 49686. As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide answers to their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your main goal will be to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction while remaining informed about product features. Your Responsibilities Include: Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service. Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services. Building productive trust relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in line with policies and procedures. Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining precise work order files and formulas. Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications. Restocking shelves and setting up displays. Ensuring store equipment is clean and maintained. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Assisting in deliveries when needed. Keeping assigned areas stocked and presentable. Remaining knowledgeable about products and discussing available options with customers. Complying with inventory control procedures. Suggesting improvements to boost sales. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be authorized to work without sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Experience selling paint and paint-related products. Knowledge of tinting and mixing equipment.
