Job Description
The Total Rewards Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support for employee wellness initiatives and recognition programs. Serving as a key liaison between the Total Rewards function and the broader employee population, this position ensures programs are delivered with accuracy and communicated clearly. This role helps to uphold data integrity, streamline internal workflows, and enhance the overall employee experience. The Coordinator also supports the Director of Total Rewards with administrative tasks, coordination of employee benefits, wellness programming, and FMLA tracking to support COBRA administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits and Wellness Program Support Assist in the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs and wellness initiatives
Responding to inquiries with clarity and professionalism
Coordinate logistics for wellness-related initiatives and company-sponsored health events
Help maintain accurate records related to leave tracking and FMLA exhaustion to support COBRA transitions
Maintain internal documentation, resources, and communication materials to promote employee awareness and engagement
Open Enrollment Assistance Support the execution of the annual benefits open enrollment process, including system validation, communication deployment, and employee support
Monitor employee enrollment activity and assist with the resolution of system or eligibility-related issues
Employee Recognition Program Administration Serve as the primary coordinator for the organization's recognition platform (e.g., AwardCo), providing end-user assistance and managing routine updates
Collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing program visibility and effectiveness
Data Management and Reporting Ensure accuracy of employee data within HR systems related to benefits and recognition programs
Prepare routine reports and audit documentation as needed for compliance and internal review
Administrative Support and Collaboration Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Total Rewards
Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistency and efficiency in processes
Assist with drafting and distributing Total Rewards communications that align with company guidelines
Assist with delivery of Total Rewards content for new employee onboarding presentations
Monitor new employee benefits enrollment activity for completion via Workday
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS platforms preferred
Experience with Workday is required
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Compensation:
$55,200.00 - $77,300.00
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
One to three years of experience in human resources, benefits, or total rewards support; one to three years payroll experience
Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting at a desk or workstation, often working on a computer for extended periods
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and using office equipment
Occasional standing and walking, especially during meetings or collaborative sessions
Visual requirements such as close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus (important for reading reports or spreadsheets)
Speaking and hearing clearly to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and employees
Light lifting (e.g., boxes of materials or office supplies), though this is rare
