Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Operations Manager to oversee the daily administrative functions of our fast-paced commercial construction office. This individual will play a pivotal role in streamlining workflows, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams from the back office.
Responsibilities :
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, supply ordering, and vendor coordination Develop and implement administrative systems to support construction project needs Liaise with project managers to ensure timely document management and reporting Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and basic bookkeeping Assist HR with onboarding, timesheet tracking, and compliance paperwork Coordinate internal communications and support executive reporting Maintain digital and physical records related to permits, contracts, and project timelines Monitor office budget and recommend cost-efficiency measures Manage office support staff and foster a collaborative environment Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) 3+ years of experience in office management, ideally in commercial construction or a related industry Strong understanding of construction documentation, billing cycles, and project workflows Proficiency in office software and construction management tools (e.g. Procore, MS Project) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and thrive in deadline-driven environments
