Bureau Veritas North America is looking for Rotating Equipment Inspectors for the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience – Should have 5 to 10 years experience in QA/QC for rotating equipment’s / relevant certifications
a. Equipments inspected – Should have done inspections on
i. Pumps
ii. Compressors
iii. Turbines (gas/steam)
iv. Fans
v. Engines
vi. Gearboxes
vii. Blowers
b. Detailed inspection experience –
i. Witness Factory acceptance test
ii. Performance test
iii. Hydrostatic test
iv. Pneumatic Test
v. No load test
vi. NDE
vii. String test
viii. Balancing test
ix. Read and interprété drawings,
x. MTC review
xi. Witness test as per ITP
xii. Visual and Dimensional
2. Educational Requirements – Associate degree with QA/QC experience or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Eng.
3. Certifications – Not mandatory, but better to have API Source Inspection Rotating Equipments (SIRE)
4. Additional Requirements – Should be able to prepare good Inspection reports using MS Word. Should be able to work with different reporting tools.
