Piping, Fittings, Valves and General Mechanical Inspector

Bureau Veritas North America is looking for Piping, Fittings, Valves and General Mechanical Inspector for the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

· Inspect piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment for quality and compliance with industry standards

· Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment

· Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment

· Document and report inspection findings

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

· 5 to 10 years experience in QA/QC for Piping, Fittings, Valves, General Mechanicalequipment’s

· Associate degree with QA/QC experience or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

· Not mandatory, but better to have knowledge of API 598, Relevant ASME standards

· Demonstrated ability to work in a project environment and function as a team player

· Demonstrated acceptable interpersonal skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs, etc.

· Should be able to prepare good Inspection reports using MS Word.

· Should be able to work with different reporting tools.

· Read, write and speak fluent English
