Job Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to all stakeholders Support positive employee relations through communication, conflict resolution and people management support implements new hire orientation Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law. Maintains HRIS data (UKG PRO experience a plus) and generate detailed reports using excel and power point. Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail Time management with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with UKG PRO HRIS or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. 3+ years experience as an HR Generalist SHRM-CP or PHR a plus UKG experience preferred Previous experience in K-12 education a plus
