Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab tech experience License: RCIS or CVT certification required Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications required Must-Have: - RCIS or CVT certification - ACLS & BLS certification through the American Heart Association - 2 years of recent Cath Lab tech experience Description: The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services. Candidates must possess the required certifications and have the specified years of experience to be considered for this position.
