Job Description Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills and judgment while assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be responsible and accountable for performing studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the performance of cardiac imaging studies in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment. - Ensure the timely execution of studies while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and diagnostics. - Maintain a sterile environment and comply with all infection control standards. - Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Qualifications:

- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) certification is required. - Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association are required. - A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technician is required. - Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

- Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed. - Must be able to accommodate the work schedule as outlined for this position. - A comprehensive list of required documentation, including SSN & DOB, RTR, and the Vendor Submittal Packet, must be attached upon application.
