American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring PET and general nuclear medicine competency, PET and NMTCB certification.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department with no cardiac imagingMust be competent with PET and general nuclear medicine proceduresUtilizes Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine camerasDay shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PMTravelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope as neededBrief unit orientation provided prior to startingEpic charting experience preferredNo cardiac imaging is performed in this departmentScrub color for this unit is royal blue or khakiOnsite modules completed during orientation, typically 2-3 hoursFormer permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerLocal candidates within 75 miles are not acceptedNo more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approvedNo time off allowed during the first week of orientationTravel pairs or groups are not accepted
