American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active ARRT or NMTCB certification.
Responsibilities Position is in an acute care setting within the Nuclear Medicine departmentWork schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per weekThere is one scanner in the department and the primary equipment is Siemens/D-Spect for cardiac imagingPatient caseload averages 3-8 scans per day, including cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ studiesMay be required to float or cover other areas as neededElectronic charting is done using Cerner EMRPotential for weekend call shifts as neededDuties include performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures such as cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ scansMust occasionally float within the radiology department as neededScrubs are not provided; dress code appliesHoliday coverage may be required as neededCandidates must not have been employed at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity Health, within the past yearCandidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
