Triple Crown Senior Living (TCSL) is a Management Company for multiple assisted living facilities in the region.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices and payments for the communities in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner. This role supports the financial health of the senior living communities by ensuring vendors are paid promptly and records are maintained with integrity, in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Essential Duties: Reflect the Core Values and Core Focus of TCSL and embrace and utilize EOS Process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring proper approvals and coding according to company policy Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors Monitor invoice aging reports and ensure timely payments to avoid late fees or disruptions in service Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files, records, and documentation Communicate with department heads and vendors regarding payment status and invoice issues Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and credit card transactions Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reporting Coordinate with the Business Office and Accounting team to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines Respond to internal and external AP inquiries in a professional and timely manner Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as requested Maintain vendor relationships Responsible for online account payments and logins Mail checks with approval from Controller and/or VP of Accounting Maintain confidentiality of resident and community financial data at all times. Education/
Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems) is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment What We Offer :
