Job Description
A client is in need of a FIBERGLASS QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR! This is a full time position, hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm and some overtime. Duties include-
Reads and adheres to all standard operating procedures according to each project or assignment. • Approves incoming, in-process, and finished materials by confirming specifications,
conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable
materials • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work
and waste, and inputting data into quality database • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as
needed • Reports mechanical or material issues to direct supervisor immediately • Transports finished goods to designated storage or shipping areas • Maintains a clean and safe work area • Regular and consistent attendance • Performs all other related duties and assignments as requested
Requirements
Previous inspection experience or 10+ years of experience in FRP in a production environment and familiarity with maeasurement tools is required. Must be able to pass a background and drug screening High School Diploma or GED Must have solid communication skills, attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment. Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Suites Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work independently with minimal or no supervision
