LHH has partnered with a great organization in midtown Manhattan this TEMPORARY Accounts Payable Specialist position. This role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of vendor invoices (250+ weekly) across multiple business entities. Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system in accordance with company procedures. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process ACH, wire, and check payments. Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and ensure proper documentation is retained. Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals. Qualifications 3+ years of AP experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment. Proficiency in ERP systems a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
