Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with team members and communicate important information to your supervisor. Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data relevant to your role. Complete other assigned duties to support the store's operations. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure shelves and merchandise displays are neatly stocked. Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping journey. Provide constructive feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, and operational challenges. Participate in inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy. Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to guarantee freshness for our customers. Follow merchandising guidelines to create visually appealing displays. Efficiently organize new inventory and manage waste, such as empty boxes. Safely operate necessary machinery and adhere to all safety protocols. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stock Associates must be able to stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds onto shelves of various heights. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Capable of performing general cleaning duties to meet company standards. Ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures. Strong verbal communication skills. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Effective time management skills. Knowledge of ALDI products and services is a plus. Cashier:
Ability to operate a cash register quickly and accurately. Comply with state and local laws regarding alcoholic beverage sales. Stock Associate:
Ability to operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Morning availability is required for store operational responsibilities, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
