Position Summary We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our warehouse operations team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment, facilities, and machinery. Job Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, packaging machinery, and other specialized equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to perform maintenance tasks effectively. Handle the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse facility, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural components. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and projects. Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair activities. Monitor inventory levels and order replacement parts as needed to minimize disruptions to operations. Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs. Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime metrics to support data-driven decision-making. Job Requirements Over two years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with a thorough understanding of industrial equipment and machinery. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, managers, and external vendors. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to maintenance and repair activities. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or education preferred.
