Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of financial responsibilities, including payroll, audits, and month-end closings. The role is fully on-site and provides a chance to work closely with a dynamic team while contributing to the organization's financial stability. Responsibilities: Oversee payroll processing for up to 25 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Perform month-end closings, including preparing financial reports and reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently. Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare for and assist in audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation. Record and review journal entries to ensure proper accounting practices. Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software to manage bookkeeping tasks. Collaborate with internal teams to address financial inquiries and improve processes. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes. Requirements: Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. Familiarity with bank reconciliations and journal entries. Ability to handle month-end closings and prepare for audits. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
