Full Charge Bookkeeper Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing a wide range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Perform accurate account reconciliations, including credit card and balance sheet accounts. Handle month-end close activities, including preparing financial statements and reports. Monitor cost allocation and ensure proper categorization of expenses. Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records. Prepare and analyze balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy. Collaborate with management to address any discrepancies or issues in financial data. Implement critical thinking to solve complex financial challenges and streamline processes. Adapt to evolving business needs and maintain high standards of accuracy in all bookkeeping functions. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. Strong knowledge of payroll functions and full-cycle payroll processes. Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Experience with account reconciliation, including balance sheets and credit card accounts. Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
