AP Specialist Location: Riverside, MO (Onsite) Salary: $45-60k/year We are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) specialist responsible for managing vendor payments and expenses. Key responsibilities include: Processing invoices accurately and timely Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing payments and issuing checks Maintaining accurate financial records and databases Monitoring expenses for tax purposes Supporting the accounting and purchasing departments, including financial statement preparation and collaboration with the purchasing team Resolving payment issues with vendors Assisting with Accounts Receivable by tracking and monitoring customer payments Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles Excellent time management and attention to detail Proficiency with MS Excel Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent Experience in manufacturing or construction (preferred, not required) Experience with accounts payable and receivable Experience with accounting software such as MS Dynamics 365 or MS Great Plains Additional Information: Seniority Level: Associate Employment Type: Full-time Job Function: Accounting/Auditing Industry: Construction
