Dietary Assistant - Full-Time Evening Shift

We provide medical masks and PPE to all employees to help protect our residents, staff and their families.DIETARY ASSISTANTThis position is responsible for assisting with the storage, preparation, sanitation and delivery of food consistent with local, state and federal guidelines.QUALIFICATIONS:8th grade education or equivalentAble to follow directionAbility to read, speak, write and understand EnglishAbility to tactfully deal with facility personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etcMeet all health requirements imposed by lawDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Set tables, serve food and clear tables using proper sanitary techniqueSet up dietary trays in a sanitary manner consistent with pre-planned menu and in accordance with physician prescribed dietProper removal of dietary trays and transport to dishwashing areaProperly washes, sanitizes and stores dishes and equipmentPerforms assigned cleaning dutiesInspects all equipment for proper functioning and safety prior to and during use. Notifies Maintenance immediately of repair needsFollows established safety and infection control proceduresParticipates in all required inservice trainingMaintains safe working conditions and follows dress codeReports to supervisor all complaints and grievances made by residents, families and visiting individualsAdheres to and promotes Code of ConductAll other duties as assigned
