We provide medical masks and PPE to all employees to help protect our residents, staff and their familiesNURSE SUPERVISORThis position is responsible for the daily oversight and guidance of the clinical operations within the facility.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate from accredited school of nursingRegistered Nurse in good standing with licensure boardMinimum of 2 years of experience in a long term care or nursing management preferredSelf-motivated, self-directed with leadership skillsOrganizational skillsAbility to direct and motivate othersKnowledge of record keepingKnowledge of care and services provided by department and the regulatory requirements for the care and servicesAbility to sort, check, count and verify numbersAbility to read, speak, write and understand EnglishAbility to present information to a varied audience and assess retention of educationAbility to tactfully deal with facility personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etcMeet all health requirements imposed by lawAdvanced data entry skills and the ability to typeDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide daily oversight and direction of nursing personnel to assure adherence to facility policies and procedures, current standards of nursing practice, job descriptions, state and federal regulationsMake routine rounds or conduct tours with others, such as the Administrator, physicians, other facility, staff, government representatives and visitorsIdentify changes in resident condition, accidents, incidents, grievances, significant clinical trends and works with nursing personnel to assure proper assessment, notification, reporting, documentation and care and services are providedAssure that nursing personnel are administering care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, current standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulationsConducts Quality Assurance/Continuous Quality Improvement tasks as assigned to assure departmental activities are conducted in a manner consistent with local, state and federal regulationsPrepares and submits reports, as directed by Unit Coordinator, Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and/or AdministratorMaintain privacy and confidentiality of records, conditions, and other information to residents, employees and the facilityAble to be on callParticipate in committee meetings, orientation, inservices, workshops and institutesBe able to keep adequate recordsAble to direct and motivate other nursing employeesFollow established safety and infection control proceduresParticipates in all required inservice trainingMaintains safe working conditions and follows dress codeReports to supervisor all complaints and grievances made by residents, families and visiting individualsAdheres to and promotes Code of ConductAll other duties as assigned
