Responsible for promoting the efficient operations to provide effective nursing care of a designated department(s). Manages the department independently under the guidance of a Director. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies including the TJC and the Nurse Practice Act. Promotes optimum health care delivery and optimum patient experience. Recognizes and promotes provision of patient care resources within budgetary guidelines. Responsible for department(s) on a 24 hour basis.LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:Your role is to be an effective leader by coaching and developing your staff, collaborating, building teams, solving problems, taking initiative, analyzing, planning, managing change, accepting responsibility, setting and reviewing objectives, exercising control, making decisions, motivating others, supporting employee initiative, and building trust and commitment.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):Current Florida RN LicenseCurrent BLS CertificationCurrent ACLS CertificationBachelor's preferredTwo (2) years of cardiology and or critical care clinical experience, one (1) year management experience preferred
