Sonographer Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the assessment and diagnosis of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in sonography techniques. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and assist in developing patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and aseptic techniques during examinations. Monitor and assess vital signs during procedures to ensure patient safety. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare team members. Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance patient care. Years of Experience: 2 year(s) Certifications: ARDMS RDCS AE, BLS, RDCS Locals accepted: Yes Skills
Proficient in sonography techniques and equipment operation. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac catheterization is preferred. Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
