Director, Change Enablement & Employee Experience

bout the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Change Enablement & Employee Experience to lead operational change management for the organizational separation of WBD into two independent companies. This pivotal role will ensure a seamless and positive employee experience during the transition, proactively managing all people-related aspects to support business continuity and minimize disruption. The successful candidate will bring best-in-class change management practices, work cross-functionally to drive the separation plan, and ensure organizational readiness for Day 1 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities: Change Management Strategy Development & Impact Analysis
Lead the creation and execution of an end-to-end change management strategy for the separation. Conduct impact assessments, audience readiness analyses, and develop mitigation plans across systems, policies, and processes. Monitor and adapt the strategy as activities evolve, ensuring alignment with changing business needs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership
Build and nurture collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders (e.g., Tech, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, People & Culture). Partner closely with workstreams such as Talent Development, Communications, and Org Culture, ensuring cohesive and synchronized change plans. Serve as a trusted advisor for all people-related impacts of separation.
Change Material Development & Execution
Oversee the creation and deployment of all change deliverables, including communications, training, and engagement activities. Ensure all materials meet quality and legal standards and align with internal communications and P&C teams.
Change Workstream Project Management
Define and drive the change management workstream's scope, milestones, and deliverables in accordance with overall separation timelines. Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks; communicate project status across stakeholders and leadership.
Continuous Improvement (Post-Day 1 & Ongoing Support)
Foster ongoing adoption and continuous improvement, leveraging employee feedback, pulse surveys, and external best practices. Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and refine change management methods for sustained effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. 10+ years' experience in organizational change management, ideally within large-scale transformation or separation environments. Proven success leading complex, cross-functional change initiatives impacting processes, people, and systems. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Strong project management experience, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Experience collaborating across diverse functions such as Technology, Legal, Finance, Real Estate, and HR/People & Culture. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable.
